SPONSOR A CHILD
Sponsoring a child is one of the most incredible gifts you can give. Due to poverty, many chidren are denied an education, limiting their futures and perpetuating a cycle of poverty. Providing a child with access to an education opens up options for their future and empowers them with options and knowledge. We have many options for sponsorship and we encourage sponsors to know the children they are helping. Sponsorship starts at $2 a day.
IN NEED OF SPONSORS

MDU BOYS HOME
These boys are all part of our boys home in Mutungo. They all have different circumstances but many have run away from home due to poverty, abuse or death of family. They have been living on the streets but are now safe in a house where they are receiving basic education, food, medical care and lots of love!
They are all anxious to get sponsors so the can go to school, some of them for the first time. Please contact us for more information on the individual children.
Update: There are still children who need sponsors. Please contact us or more information.

SUCCESS STORIES
Thanks to our generous donors we have had a number of children receive sponsorship, excelling in school and gaining more than just an education.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW LONG CAN I SPONSOR A CHILD FOR?
There is no set time as it depends on what you are able to offer and the age of the child and what level of school they are in. We do encourage people to think seriously about sponsorship with the aim to make it a long term commitment.
HOW DOES THE CHILD BENEFIT FROM SPONSORSHIP?
Without sponsorhsip the child may not be able to attend school. This limits their future prospects. When you sponsor a child they are able to receive food, education, social interaction and they are given the gift of a future. For these children the relationship to a sponsor also provides them with hope and confidence in themselves and engrains the importance of education.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS INVOLVED?
With our child sponsorship program 100% of the money goes to the child's education, this money is for the school fees, cost of boarding where relevant and their uniform and requirements. We do not make any money off child sponsorship and provide receipts for all money spent. In Uganda even children only attending school during the day are required to provide things like sugar, toilet paper and school supplies. These costs will be clearly outlined.
HOW DO I KNOW THE MONEY IS REALLY GOING TO THE CHILD I SPONSOR?
CAN I GET TO KNOW MY SPONSOR CHILD?
We encourage sponsors to know their sponsor child if they choose to. Often the child and family want to share with the sponsor about the child's progress and milestones.
CAN I SHARE THE COST ON SPONSORSHIP WITH SOMEONE?
CAN I CHOOSE WHERE THE CHILD GOES TO SCHOOL?
