Beth - Founder and CEO

Beth Haley, the founder and CEO of Making a Difference in Uganda, is a Registered Nurse, mother of two grown children and grandmother of three young children. She has been volunteering for over 25 years and in 2017, she volunteered in Uganda and it changed her life. She fell in love with the country and the people and founded Making a Difference in Uganda to give others the same opportunity, while making a difference in the lives we serve. She has been a Nurse for 33 years and has extensive hospital experience as well as management experience. She is currently working as a Travel Nurse so she can pursue her true passion, volunteering in Uganda between contracts.

Never one to shy from adventure, Ted Davis has traveled the world extensively, climbing mountains in the Andes and Himalayas and helping fund and build a freshwater well and schoolhouse in an isolated village in West Africa. Ted owns his own womens accessories business and is a published author. He joined Making a Difference in Uganda as a volunteer in 2019 and has become an invaluable part of the team.
